Setting Up Subsidiaries

If your organization has multiple companies or business units, configure them as subsidiaries in BCT.

Entity modes

• Single - One company, one set of data
• Parent Only - Parent company visible only
• Multi - Full parent + subsidiaries with consolidated reporting

Adding a subsidiary

1. Go to Admin Panel → Accounting → Entity Management
2. Click Add Entity
3. Enter the subsidiary name, type (parent/subsidiary), currency, and fiscal year start
4. Save - a default chart of accounts is automatically created

Access

Management and above see all subsidiaries. Staff see only their own subsidiary's data.
