Understanding Roles & Permissions
BCT uses a 5-tier role hierarchy:
| Role | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Super Admin | Full access to everything including Admin Panel |
| Management | Full access to all operational data, no Admin Panel |
| Admin | Department-level management access |
| Team Lead | Team visibility and task management |
| General | Own data only (leads assigned to them, own clock-in, etc.) |
Department-based permissions
Some modules have department-based access. For example, the Accounting module is accessible to any staff in the Accounting department regardless of their role tier.
Changing a staff member's role
Go to Staff → [Staff Member] → Edit → Change Role. Role changes take effect immediately.
