Understanding Roles & Permissions

BCT uses a 5-tier role hierarchy:

RoleAccess Level
Super AdminFull access to everything including Admin Panel
ManagementFull access to all operational data, no Admin Panel
AdminDepartment-level management access
Team LeadTeam visibility and task management
GeneralOwn data only (leads assigned to them, own clock-in, etc.)

Department-based permissions

Some modules have department-based access. For example, the Accounting module is accessible to any staff in the Accounting department regardless of their role tier.

Changing a staff member's role

Go to Staff → [Staff Member] → Edit → Change Role. Role changes take effect immediately.
